Trips run from May to October, rain or shine. We offer world-class whitewater, fishing, and over all adventure!

All of our tours are private to your group. We are extremely flexible, offering completely customizable packages and catering to your needs. Activities on our trips can include, but are not limited to:

Whitewater Zodiac

Motor through rapids with tight turns, fast water, and big waves. This activity really shines in May and June when the river is pumping with all the spring run off.


Ottawa River Adventures can take you to those hard to reach rarely fished locations. We offer both motorized and non motorized boats. Whether your a beginner or seasoned fisherman we can accommodate. Check out our fishing page for more info.

Cliff Jumping

Ottawa River Adventures has a few places you can experience the exhilarating rush of cliff jumping. Jump one or jump them all, cliff heights very from 2 to 8 meters!


Hold on tight! and experience the laws of physics as the Zodiac whips you around the river on a inflatable tube.

Whitewater Swimming

Leave the boat behind and challenge a variety of different rapids with just your Life jacket. From gentle floats to wild wave trains.

Bird Watching / Photo Tour

Bird watching and Photography has never been so Adventurous! With Great Blue Heron, Osprey, and Bald Eagles; you are sure to see some big birds and have some great Photo opportunity’s. Ottawa River Adventures does its best to protect your gear by providing waterproof storage. Non the less Ottawa River Adventures will not be held liable for any lost or damaged equipment.

All trip activities are subject to time, weather and the river levels.

Contact us for up to date water levels and conditions. The table below should be used as loose guidance, water levels can very drastically.


Typically higher, colder water. Up to eight different rapids to navigate!



Typically lower, warmer water. Two to three different rapids, with plenty of chances to swim and cliff jump.



Typically average flows, cool water. Two to five rapids to navigate, and breathtaking fall colours along the shores of the Ottawa River.
