The Ottawa River is well known for it’s world-class fishing – its’ diverse ecosystem allows a large variety of fish species to thrive.

The opportunities for fishing are endless on the Ottawa River – sandy beaches, rocky shorelines, weedy bays, large lakes, and rapids of varying depth provide inviting habitats for several varieties of fish. While fishing with Ottawa River Adventures, likely catches are Largemouth and smallmouth bass, Northern pike, Catfish and Walleye. Ottawa River Adventures uses its intimate knowledge of the river to place you strategically on shore, or in the boat, increasing your chances of landing those fish.

Equipment

Fish out of a outfitted fishing raft, all the rafts this season are now outfitted with NRS fishing frames with Bow and Stern swivel seats, Casting decks and Thigh hooks. With maximum of 2 Anglers and guide. We can do up to 3 boats! Or Fish out of a motorized Zodiac. Ottawa River Adventures supply’s clients with 5-7 foot medium action fiber glass rods with cork handles, mounted with Shimano Spinning Reels. This creates a great all around rod that when paired with the right tackle can be used effectively in targeting a variety of fish species. Feel free to bring your own gear but know that ORA will not be held liable for any lost or damaged equipment.

Licensing
